Chico here. Thanks for helping out the dogs and cats. I bet most of you know what it's like to be loved by a dog or a cat. Sure, like Pavlov's dog, we drool at the sound of the can opener. Yet I'll bet your dog or cat was with you even after they licked the food bowl clean. |
It works like this. We shine up the machines and go have fun while helping CARE pay for much needed medications, microchips, spay/neuter, and emergency surgeries. It's easy, especially with this online registration. While there, eat a lunch and that too helps these folks feed a dog or a kitten. Come howl with the live bands and sniff around the goodie tables. The folks at Capistrano Harley-Davidson are a good bunch of folks for helping out, so bring a friend too. You can use the "Invite Friends" link on this page and bring the whole pack and make a fun day of it.

Founded in 2000, Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort helps the Homeless and Abandoned Cats and Dogs of San Juan Capistrano. By utilizing foster driven pet rescue, CARE's volunteer organization leverages the gifts of Supporters, Members and Your Generous Event Donations.
Along the way through our eight years of service to the community, more than 1,125 cats and dogs have found homes. Nearly all where retrieved or diverted from going to the Orange County Animal Shelter.
